My name is Kristian Ole Rørbye, and the journey since moving has been both enriching and enlightening, leading to the establishment of two companies under the Board of Investment (BOI), with a thriving team of 20 full-time staff at one point.
The roots I’ve laid down here have grown deep and firm; I’ve purchased a house in Chiang Mai, a condo, and also acquired a piece of land in Chiang Rai where we built another home. These experiences have not only provided a roof over my family’s head but have also granted me a wealth of knowledge regarding the local real estate and construction sectors.
When the business day winds down, my time is devoted to my family, my supportive wife and two cherished kids. Our adventures across the serene landscapes of Thailand continue to add beautiful chapters to our life story.
The hours away from work also take me cycling through the scenic routes of Chiang Mai, fishing for snakehead and catfish, maneuvering chess pieces, or basking in the tranquility of nature.
